Abyssinia Crisis: Renault FT-17 (FIAT 3000)

The next option for the Mahel Safari and the last for now is the iconic Renault FT 17, the first modern tank - for my Mehal Sefari as the FIAT 3000 version (built under licence by the Italians) in the army list.

This is my first try using an airbrush and weathering a vehicle with enamel washes, powders etc. The result isn´t anything impressive, but at least ok - I will have to practise much more.

I decided to go for a French  camouflage pattern - there was a decree by Haile Selassi to keep foreign camouflages as to showing the support of foreign countries - and only add rust and dust powders after painting, washing and chipping, because the tank is used in very dry climate.

So without further ado, here are the pictures, please feel free to criticize and comment.

Conflict 2017 coming closer, there are to build some more terrain - next will be 3 of these typical Ethiopian round huts, followed by some more bushes and tall grass,
