Terrain: A small Church in 15mm for Sicily (and the entire Mediterranean)

As a little warm-up exercise, I'm starting the new year with adding one more piece of terrain to my existing 15mm collection - a small church/chapel for our Sicilian setting, but it could be used nearly all around the Mediterranean.

It´s a 3D print again with the STL from 3dprintterrain where I ‘plastered’ the walls after printing.
This means that the print lines have largely disappeared and the surfaces look more realistic than if they were just painted.
As usual, the roof tiles are individually painted to achieve the typical Mediterranean look.

Next I need a suitable cemetery ...

Warmaster Revolution: Slann Mage Palanquin

A small preview of an upcoming project in 2025 - I will be starting another army for Warmaster Revolution: Lizardmen!

First ‘test’ is a Slann Mage on his Palanquin, carried by his bodyguard of Saurus warriors.

This little vignette is 3D printed, the STL is from Forest Dragon.
The two larger plants are cheap aquarium plants that I completely repainted, if only to give them an unnatural ‘plastic look’.

More to follow ... next 2025 😂

Warmaster Revolution: Pink and Blue Horrors

As the next day of our Albion Campaign is approaching fast, as always I wanted to have at least one newly painted unit completed by the time I not only have 2000 points (without counting magic items etc.), but can also vary the setup, i.e. ultimately about 2500 points of units and characters.
In the end, there were two units - one each of Pink Horrors and Blue Horrors.

The miniatures are self-printed and the STLs from Tordo Miniatures again. They paint up very well and have fantastic details - highly recommended if you are looking for 10mm Demons.

And here are the pictures of both units:

Warmaster Revolution: A new Wizard for my Demons has spawned 😎

My Warmaster Demons received another reinforcement today - a mighty Wizard joins the ranks of my still growing Demon Horde 💪

The STL comes from Tordo Miniatures again and as always I printed it using the proved TGM-7 resin.

I used my airbrush to paint a figure for the first time, in this case for the colour transitions on the feathers - I'm quite happy with the result, even if it still requires a lot of practice.

Freshly materialised through the dimension gate:

Warmaster Revolution: More cavalry for my Demons

My army of Demons is still growing -  another cavalry unit for my 10mm Demons for Warmaster Revolution is done.
Self-printed STLs from Varus Miniatures again.

Unfortunately these files are no longer available and that´s a pity because they are a joy to paint and they have so many great details - just look at the flies on the banner 😎

Warmaster Revolution: One unit of cavalry for my Demons is done

More 10mm Demons - a first unit of cavalry is ready to be summoned for the next battle of Warmaster Revolution.
STLs are from Varus Miniatures, printed by myself.

I really started to enjoy painting 10mm figures because I always have to test and learn new painting techniques.
On the one hand, I want to bring out the many details possible with 3D printing at this scale, but on the other hand, I want to do so without needing several days for each figure until a unit is ready for the gaming table.

Forces françaises libres (FFL) in 15mm: Goumiers for Operation Husky and Italy, 1st Squad done

My first squad of Goumiers in 15mm is finished just in time for our Big Chain of Command game Today.
There are definitely much more relaxing things to do than painting striped coats in 15mm, that´s for sure but at least there will be not that much competition in this scale 😅

These are 3D printed miniatures using my trusted TGM-7 resin from Ameralabs, STLs are from Eskice Miniatures rescaled from 28mm to 15mm.

The Goumiers were part of the Forces françaises libres (Free French) and  paticipated in Operation Husky, landing together with the US troops on Sicily and later fought in the Italian campaign.
