Finnish Squad: The completed force - not to be continued (at least in 28mm)

The complete squad incl. support by an MMG and a sniper at a glance.

At least in 28mm I will not continue it after my move to Bavaria and sell the squad, as my new teammates almost exclusively play Battlegroup in 15mm - but STL files are flexible in which size you print them 😎

28mm Painting: 2 Sniper and a downed female pilot as object marker

In the last few weeks I have had very little time due to the preparations for my move to Bavaria and only wanted to finish a few smaller projects beforehand.

These included a sniper for my Australians, a downed pilot as an object marker for our Operation Squad Evolution games and a sniper for my Winter War Finns.

Let's start with the downed female pilot, a resin figure from Warlord Games:

Next up, the Sniper for my Digger, a 3D print of a Commando Sniper by 3D Breed from the Kickstarter March To Hell - Europe in Flames:

And last but not least, the Sniper for my Finns, which concludes the small project and which I will not continue (at least in 28mm) and will sell the Squad.

Figure is from Warlord Games:

Terrain: North American Barn finished

Finished barn from Sarissa Precision ready for the gaming table.

I completely rebuilt the roof of the barn from individual cardboard shingles and then painted it to look as close as possible to weathered wood.
I also depicted chipped paint on the walls of the barn - I used both the hairspray method for larger chipping and sponge dabbing for smaller chipping.

Buildings of this type could not only be used for North America but even for Scandinavian settings.

A few pic´s from the wip stage:

The finished barn:

In the last pic it is shown together with the North American house from the Farm Set I presented already some time ago, you can find it here:

Terrain: Some more scatter terrain and new 3D printed dry stone walls

In the last few weeks I have again mainly built or printed and painted terrain.

First, I had built a few log stacks and a few firewood stacks as a little break filler, in this case from real wood branches that I had collected and dried on my hikes.

Second, I started to build new 3D printed dry stone walls, the STL files for this are from the ACW series by Jens Najewitz.

For the stone wall with the gate I used 2 small sections and then built the gate from individual strips of balsa wood and then painted and weathered it accordingly.

Deutsche Version
