After my move to Bavaria, it is time to reorientate myself as far as wargaming is concerned, because the group I was able to join here prefers 15mm as scale and Battlegroup as the rules.
At the moment we mainly play in the Normandy setting, a good opportunity to bring an old project out of the mothballs into the light: The Battle of Carentan.
This offers the opportunity to build up a mixed battlegroup alongside the 101st Airborne and the 2nd Armoured "Hell on Wheels", which rushed in to support the "Screaming Eagles" in their fight.
I will start with the "Screaming Eagles", of which I will initially paint 1 platoon including support, before an armoured platoon (41st Armoured Infantry Regiment) and 2 Troops Shermans of the 2nd Armoured will follow soon.
And so the 1st Squad is finished - the first 15mm miniatures I have painted in more than 17 years. Miniatures are printed STL´s from 3D Breed less 2 from Battlefront.

Nach meinem Umzug nach Bayern heißt es sich neu zu orientieren, was das Hobby Wargames angeht, denn die Gruppe, der ich mich hier anschliessen konnte, bevorzugt 15mm als Maßstab und als Regelwerk hat sich Battlegroup etabliert.
