Warmaster: Another project on my list at the horizon?

On Saturday I was in Munich with the Weiss Blaue Strategen, there was a Warmaster campaign day on the agenda with several connected games.
The current Warmaster Revolution version was played.

It started with a scouting scenario with 500 points - Ors&Goblins against Empire and I was allowed to take over the Orcs&Gobbos.

I was absolutely convinced by the rules and had a lot of fun, even though I lost by a narrow margin.
So I guess there's one more new project on my list, which isn't short anyway 😅

The orcs and gobbos march surprisingly well ordered towards the enemy, only the shaman has to have the orders explained to him again 😎

Maybe he just shouts his orders too unintelligibly, in any case the right flank always lags behind.

The Empire's halberdiers crash into my orcs on the left flank.

My orcs are losing ground, but the two empire regiments are not getting out of it either and more orcs are approaching on the flanks.

Shortly after, the halberdiers are wiped out, but then the Empire general gets angry and wipes out the unit of Orcs that the Orc Boss had joined, and with that the remaining Gobbos take to their heels.

Am Samstag war ich in München bei den Weiss Blaue Strategen, es stand ein Warmaster Kampagnen-Tag auf dem Plan, bei dem mehrere zusammenhängende Spiele auf dem Plan standen.

Gespielt wurde die aktuelle Warmaster Revolution Version.

Es ging mit einem Scouting-Szenario mit 500 Punkten los - Ors&Goblins gegen Imperium und ich durfte die Orcs&Gobbos übernehmen.

Which way to the Front?

Supply jeep is on the way to my 15mm US Airborne.

I like rule where such small vignettes are not only ornamental but also serve a function - in this case to rearm units that are out-of-ammo.

Driver is a printed one, Jeep and passenger are Battlefront Miniatures, trailer is printed too, STL from Eskice Miniature.
Tarp is made from paper tissue, stowage is either printed, or from Battlefront again.

Band of Brothers: 101st Airborne in 15mm for the Battle for the Normandy: 57mm Anti Tank gun finished

On and on with my 15mm Project "Battle of Carentan"

Finished the last Platoon Support Option for my Screaming Eagles - an 57mm Anti-Tank gun with additional crew.

For Battlegroup they count as optional Loader Team, for Chain of Command as JL with 5 crew.

57mm AT gun and the crew printed by myself again, but this time the STL´s are from Eskice Miniature.
Had to rescale them quite a bit so they fit well with Battlefront and 3D Breed.

Sand bags are made from Greenstuff, tufts, flowers and flock are from different manufacturers (Gamers Grass, MiniNatur, AK Interactive Woodland and so on).

Und weiter gehts mit meinem 15mm Projekt "Battle of Carentan".

Die letzte Platoon Support Option für meine Screaming Eagles ist fertig geworden - eine 57mm PaK mit zusätzlicher Crew.

Bei Battlegroup gelten die als optionales Loader Team (Chance auf höhere RoF), für Chain of Command als Junior Leader mit 5 Crew.

PaK und Crew sind wieder selbstgedruckt, die STL´s stammen dieses Mal von Eskice Miniature.

Das Anpassen war etwas zeitaufwendiger, bis die Figuren größenmäßig dann gut zu Battlefront und 3D Breed passten.

Band of Brothers: Project 101st Airborne in 15mm for the Battle for the Normandy: Medium Mortar Team

 The second-last option from the Platoon Support List is now ready for combat: a Medium Mortar Team (81mm mortars) joins the ranks of my US Paras.

Again: figures and mortars printed by myself, the files are again from 3D Breed.

Now all that is missing from the support list is the 57mm PaK, then I can move on to the recce units and vehicles.

Die vorletzte Option von der Platoon Support List ist nunmehr kampfbereit: ein Medium Mortar Team (81mm Mörser) verstärkt die Reihen meine US Paras.

Auch hier wieder: Figuren und Mörser selbstgedruckt, die Files stammen erneut von 3D Breed.

Jetzt fehlt von der Support Liste nur noch die 57mm PaK, dann kann ich zu den Recce-Einheiten und Fahrzeugen übergehen.

Another platoon support unit for my Paratroopers enters the fray - a .30cal MMG to make sure those Jerrys keep their heads down.

All figures are again  self-printed, the STL's are from 3D Breed ("Europe in Flames" range).

Band of Brothers: Project 101st Airborne in 15mm for the Battle for the Normandy - Forward HQ, mounted and dismounted version

The next unit is finished - Forward HQ for my US Airborne, both as infantry and mounted in their jeep.

All figures and the jeep are self-printed with my Elegoo Mars 2 Pro, the STL's are 3D Breed from their "Europe in Flames" Kickstarter.

Since this is the HQ of my battle group, I wanted to take the opportunity to invest a little more time and try out whether I can paint a five o'clock shadow in 15mm scale in a reasonable amount of time.

I would say that the result is quite ok 😉

Die nächste Einheit ist fertig geworden - das Forward HQ für meine US Airborne und zwar sowohl als Infanterie, wie auch aufgesessen in ihrem Jeep.

Da es sich um das HQ meiner Kampfgruppe handelt wollte ich die Gelegenheit nutzen, etwas mehr Zeit zu investieren und auszuprobieren, ob ich es im 15mm Maßstab schaffe, bei vertretbarem Zeitaufwand einen 3 Tage-Bart zu bemalen.

Ich würde meinen, das Ergebnis kann sich durchaus sehen lassen ;-)
