The first dismounted troopers are ready to give battle to the Rebels!
We use the Black Powder rules together with the "Glory, Hallelujah" Supplement and decided to go for the following standard units: 12 figure infantry, 6 figure cavalry and artillery is 1 model represents 4 canons.
Not only this allows for a quickly growing force, but for more space to maneuver your forces on the table, so for the time being we will stick to this.
So here are 2 units of dismounted cavalry.
This time painted to just a good wargames standard, cause there will be following much more miniatures to get a reasonable sized force in a reasonable time.
Miniatures are from Perry and Redoubt, the standard comes from GMB.
As dismounted cavalry counts as skirmishers in all circumstances in the BP-Rules and to uses them for rules like Sharp Practice all are mounted on single bases.
For better handling I will use movement trays.
